Superbowl Sunday was great, especially since my beloved Packers won! I have been a Packers fan since high school when Bart Starr was the QB and Vince Lombardi the coach. Had my parents, cousins, and friends over and I merrily yelled at the TV at both good and bad plays. Poor little Tess decided that the commotion was too much and she stayed in bed most of the evening. I made Paleo chili for the first time and it was fabulous! I used ground turkey instead of beef and chicken breast instead of steak (just can't bring myself to eat beef, haven't had it in over 20 years). I tried to divert the guests from the chili by declaring it awful so I would have leftovers all week, but alas, they ate it anyway. Only enough leftovers for a couple of meals. I must make that chili again this weekend!
Mostly Paleo, fall off the wagon sometimes in the evening but overall not bad. I am getting excited about starting to train for a sprint triathlon in April, we're having our first pool session with Coach Jenn Saturday after the WOD. I even joined LA Fitness this week so I can get some pool time in the AM a couple times a week before work. Gotta "keep ringing the bell".
great job on all! And we were also pulling for your Pack- personally, I think Clay Matthews is awesomeness and how cool is it that Aaron Rodgers is checking out the Paleo Diet ;)
