44 Days to the Half, 91 Days to Ragnar

I used the straight rope today for a WOD, first time!! I only went up halfway each time (thanks for the advice MK!), but did so 6 times for an equivalent of 3 climbs. Wanted to get comfortable on it before I head to the top, afraid my forearms would give out and with no knots to sit on...........its a long way down. But, I felt pretty good and will try to go to the top next week, I will need photographic evidence! I'll need to practice changing foot position for the trip down like Coach C. showed me today.

Yesterday was 5RM back squats. I added 5 pounds to my previous PR, did 98 pounds. Then I did the 15 minute time trial by myself, managed 1.83 miles with an average pace of 8:11. I felt like I could have gone another mile at that pace. Tomorrow is the team bridge run. Yippee ki-yay!
