Post Challenge Update

OK, so the Challenge is over but the lessons learned and changed habits are ongoing. Although I won't be blogging daily about what I eat in detail because it will be primarily Paleo/gluten free, I will keep track of the "cheats" to help keep me in line. TOY expressed concern that just blogging about the cheats might derail us by focusing too much on the negatives, but since my intent is on remaining Paleo and managing the cheats, I think I can remain positive. We shall see.

Post Challenge, I have continued my learned dietary habits with one very delicious extra cheat of peanut butter chocolate ice cream on Saturday night. To my delight, it did not initiate a downward spiral into decadence. I had no overpowering compulsions to keep shoving sugar into my mouth, and I was firmly back to Paleo the next day with no ill effects. I have continued with my usual habit of a little dark chocolate nearly every day and a glass or two of wine.

Saturday I also did "Annie" at home in 12:20, I think close to 2 minutes faster than last time. Still no double unders, they are baffling me.

Monday we worked on power snatches, and although I have a great deal of difficulty with the power lifts, I welcome the extra focus on them these upcoming weeks. Extra work was as many push ups in 7 minutes, managed 68.

Today was a killer, "Right Said Fred", or "Fred Said This Sucks". For time: Row 750meters, 40 KBS, 30 pull ups, 10 burpees, 30 pull ups, 40 KBS, row 750 meters. Used blue band and 16K kettle bell for all but 20 swings (switched to 14K, not enough 16K for those doing rx). Time 25:30.
