55 Days to Half, 102 to Ragnar

Saturday was my second "Fight Gone Bad". Wow, not as nervous as last year and had a good time though some good friends were absent. Still doing the intermediate version with the 35 pound bar, 8 pound ball, and stepping on the box. I WILL master the 20 inch box jumps, I'm giving myself 6 months. The 14 pound WBS will be my biggest obstacle. There were some great performances Saturday! I got to count for Jeremy from CF Thoroughbreds, on his first round he knocked out 49 push presses in the first minute!! Coach B and MK broke the 300 mark....incredible! All in all a great way to start the weekend. I just finished going through the photos and will have them on CD's by the middle of the week. Thanks to Sarina and Adrian for getting some great shots!

I managed to cram in the required CFE's last week. Tabata down by the river with Jane, Kate, Monica, Loree, and MK. What a sight it must have been, all of us running back and forth like a bunch of maniacs. I did the 9 x's run 300 meters, walk 100 meters by myself Friday from the gym. I really don't like running alone, boring and no motivation except for the darned beeping Garmin. Not too bad though, average pace during the running part was 7:37, very consistent for all the 300 meter sprints. Did the third one Sunday AM with my sweet man and Kate at Lakes Park, 40 minute tempo at 80%. Best part was the great company. Missed having Jane running with us but I hear there was some shopping in Naples for some pretty items..............? I want to see them!! We went for breakfast after the run and might have indulged just a bit. There were pancakes present but not for me, my weakness is hash browns. Ready for another week!

  1. Diane I think by the time my neighbors get a chance to see all the stuff that goes on with Crossfit they will think I am totally crazy... but I don't care... bear crawls are a bit over the top tho!!!! Last night was much better... Oscar was too tired out from all the activity with the boys to bother walking all over my head! Hope to see you for a run this weekend... and maybe even yoga????
