Friday

Breakfast: Larabar

Lousy morning. Woke up pissy and it persisted through the day although I tried to keep it under wraps while interacting with people (not sure how successful I was). Went to the Podiatrist for a second cortizone injection in the foot, this time it hurt a little bit (although I reacted as if it was excruciating) and he seemed pleased because he said the injection was right in the tendon. Great. He is a sadist just like Jason. Felt better for a while then got worse, I was limping around the hospital like a pitiful person. Definitely was not looking forward to the 5K row!

Lunch: Grilled chicken, asparagus, 1/2 apple, avocado

Put the foot on ice for 1/2 hour, felt better. Had another Larabar as a snack and reluctantly drove to CF for the punishment of the day, the dreaded 5K row. I read Sarah's post this morning and bucked up, she said it wasn't so bad, I can do this. 5K row: No big deal. Just pace yourself. This time I used the I-Pod and listened to my beloved "Rocky" tunes. I got through the darned thing with my buddies T.O.Y. and OCD on either side and Coach Sarah urging us on, time 23:24. I really feel that I can shave a minute off that next time that sadistic Jason makes us do it again. However, the pissy-ness that complicated my day fell right off, so life is good! A big thanks to Sarah for her encouragement!!!!!

Dinner: Turkey with romaine salad, red, orange, and yellow bell pepper, avocado, and olive oil, lemon, and honey dressing. Very yummy!

At least 2, maybe 3 glasses of wine. What the hell, its Friday night.
