So far I am enjoying this Paleo Challenge. Minor cravings but nothing a square of dark chocolate or a glass of wine hasn't satisfied. It has been fairly easy to structure meals during the work-week, I can only eat what I brought with me. This first Paleo weekend might be a challenge, especially during the Super Bowl when my hubby will prepare all kinds of gluten-ladden snacks for himself and my cousins to consume during the game. Maybe they won't notice if I slip out for a few hours and go to Hip Kitty's and American Psycho's party...........
Breakfast: I seem to be stuck on scrambled eggs, strawberries, and avocado; very yummy and satisfying
Snack: HB egg white, 1/4 apple, pecans
Lunch: Chicken, broccoli, avocado
Dinner: Chicken, cauliflower, mac nuts
Dark chocolate
I'm going to try some new Paleo recipes this weekend. Anybody have some advice on how to cook tuna steaks? I have never had it, never cooked it, but have been told that I will like it. I'm not even sure where to get them, I'm thinking Publix is definitely not the best option.
fresh market has excellent fish, including tuna steaks. avoid the ahi tuna. is bad. period. as is shark and Chilean sea bass. as far as prep--hmmm--baking or grilling is best. any promising recipes in live primal?

ReplyDelete"Having studied and operated on the female form for many years, Dr. Mendieta notes the feminine rear end almost always comes in four shapes: round, square, V or A-shaped. The most attractive of all are A's and often resemble an upside-down heart with a wider bottom than the top."

breakfast looks great to me- if it ain't broke, don't fix it! re: tuna: I only eat it as sashimi @ oragami, occasionally, soooo....searing it at home usually leads to overcooking, in my book ;)
