Rest Day

Breakfast: Black coffee, scrambled eggs, strawberries, avocado

Lunch: Chicken, asparagus, 1/2 apple, almond butter

Snack: 1/2 apple, 1 oz. chicken, walnuts

Since today is a rest day, I headed straight home from work. Stopped and got a double tall nonfat latte for the drive home, a little cheat. I found that it is much better when enjoyed infrequently instead of routinely, might be the secret of a successful indulgence.

Dinner: Sliced turkey in a big salad with romaine lettuce, red, yellow, and orange bell pepper, apple, little bit of shredded carrot, with what has become my favorite dressing, olive oil with lemon and a touch of honey. Yummy! Topped off with 4 dried apricots. That's it for tonight, no chocolate, no wine. Might have some herbal tea later.
